How To Whiten Your Teeth

Every now and then I’ll get someone compliment me on how white my teeth are. So I thought I’d blog about it and share this very simple method of how you can whiten your teeth by using some simple ingredients you may already have in your home.

Having white teeth shows that you are up on your oral hygiene and take an interest in your appearance. One form of charity is a smile so why not make it a clean one to accompany the kind gesture? The following treatment that will whiten your teeth should be done no more than once or twice a week due to the level of acidity which may harm your tooth enamel if you do it on a more frequent basis.

You Will Need:

Bicarbonate of Soda
Half a Lemon
Glass Bowl or ceramic
Spoon
Cotton Bud (Q-tip) or Cotton Wool

Directions:

Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice into a glass or ceramic bowl.
Take one to one and a half tea spoons of bicarbonate of soda depending on how much juice came out of the lemon (you might have to increase the amount), to make a light weight watery consistency.

Dip the Cotton Bud (Q-tip) or Cotton Wool into the lemon and bicarbonate of soda mix and apply to your teeth rubbing stubborn areas gently.

Leave the mix on for 1 minute then rise with cool water.

The results are amazing! You will quickly notice the difference I have seen stains literally disappear whilst I rubbed with the solution. To maintain your new pearly white smile you may want to consider cutting down on or cutting out;
